Saturday morning, I got my annual dog mushing fix. The second stage of the 72nd Fur Rendezvous and World Championship Spring Sled Dog Sprint Championships was taking off from downtown Anchorage. It was a gorgeous morning - but flippin’ cold: below zero - perfect sprint dog weather!

I took a ton of pictures. I’m still looking for that perfect mushing shot. But, I didn’t do too badly.

One thing - I really wanted to display the pictures on my blog in a flash album format - when I first signed up for Mixpro, I thought they’d be perfect. However, the picture size is too small and the captions/narration is not included in the final flash file. Not at all good. It then dawned on me that perhaps my new version of Photoshop Elements 5.0 would include flash bashed albums - and voila - it does. Actually it’s quite slick - except for one thing. The pictures take up a full separate browser window. You can’t easily create a nifty small, but yet large enough, in-browser, in-blog-entry flash album/player. I think I may take a peek at some 3rd party products. But until then, here are my pictures - all stand alone.
