Recuperation: Baseball and Smallville
It’s taking me a bit longer to recuperate that I had anticipated. I’m still pretty wobbly and not up to doing much - even though I thought I should have at least been able to meet the Sunday morning running group at New Sagaya for coffee. However, the Slat Rat body begged to differ. I actually made it to New Sagaya, but I got so light headed that I had to be driven home. sigh…
So, I’ve basically been laying around for almost a week. My major activities have consisted of watching baseball and the second season of Smallville. After the first two episodes of Smallville, I thought it was pretty lame. But now, after 13 episodes, I have to say that I think it’s great cinema. Although, that may be the remnants of the general anesthetic talking or my brain has totally turned to mush, or both.
The baseball has been a ton of fun. As a Red Sox fan, the three game Yankees-Red Sox series was a total blast. Literally. I about fell off the couch today after the Bosmos’ four home runs in a row. Whoo Hoo!!!!!!!!!
Hello. I am
Hence forth, I am religated to cross country flights whenever the Bosmos have big games. Missed the whole thing on endless trip from Fla to Seattle. Cranked up the olde crackberry to find the results as we taxied in to the gate at SeaTac. Whoo Hoo, indeed.
