Corruption Trials and the Connected World

Here I am in San Francisco at the Digital ID World conference and through the miracle of the Anchorage Daily News “breaking news” email alerts, I’m in the loop on the Pete Kott corruption trail. The jury notified the judge 15 minutes ago that they’ve arrived at a verdict. So, I’ll be watching my email closely in the next hour.

I admit that I want Kott found guilty - in the past few years, the stink of corruption in the Alaska State Legislature has been hideous.

And as I type, the the verdict is in, guilty on three counts.
