Merry Christmas!!!!!!!
As I type it’s 8:10 AM on Christmas Day and we’re in the midst of a bona fide blizzard! How perfect!
It’s been a lovely three days leading up to Christmas. Last night, we attended Linda and Brian’s annual very elegant Christmas Eve dinner. It was wonderful - this year Mom was also attended and I have to say, she’s was the most elegant woman there. She was striking in an fabulous brocade black and silver jacket and black silk skirt. The dinner itself was simple - but mind blowing. A Ceasar salad, Alaska Red King Crab legs that were out of this world. and a Buche de Noel made by Joe. Evidently the cake is quite a pastry tradition handed down from chef to chef. Joe learned from his chef, who in turn learned it from his chef, and so on. A perfect evening!
On the 23rd, we hosted our annual Christmas fondue party and as always it was a total blast. Although this year there were no fires or guests biting one another….
