Coffeesicle

After a load of rain earlier in the week, the temperature dropped, it snowed about 8 inches, and the temperature dropped even further. It was -10 F this morning.

I snapped this picture this morning with my phone in the parking lot of the Title Wave Kaladi Brothers - our neighborhood espresso shop. It’s too bad I didn’t have my Canon D30 with me - I think I could have done justice to the tableau. Anyhoo, there were two objects located close to each other in the parking lot - the lower half of an empty coffee cup. And then two feet away from the cup, a blob of frozen coffee in the shape of the lower half of the empty coffee cup. Even though the picture is pretty obscure, the scene was quite amusing. A definite indicator of chilly temperatures.

Frozen coffee

That’s awesome. I’m surprised that Starbucks hasn’t taken the idea and started marketing Coffeesicles in Vanilla, Caramel, and Mocha Brownie (price tag: $3.50 for a tall.)
