Sun Valley Skating
This evening, July 30th at 5:30 PM on an 85 degree day, I went ice skating, outdoors!
Sun Valley has a very nifty outdoor rink that is open even during the summer. Obviously, they’ve got some sort of mondo cooling system in place.
We can see the rink directly from our room - it’s great. We have fabulous, virtually ringside seats for the evening ice shows. Although the really fun viewing is in late morning when the professionals get an hour of ice time for practice. The women are great but I have to admit that the powerful and athletic male skaters grab most of my attention.
