This afternoon at 2:00 PM, Scott and I pilgrimaged to Groundspeak, the parent organization/sponsor of Geocaching. The Lily Pad is located here in Seattle. On Friday afternoons, they open up, by appointment, to geocachers who want to visit.

O.K. - I’m not a McCain-Palin backer (I know - big shock), but Sarah Palin was pretty darn funny on Saturday Night Live. Last night, she was definitely “The Good Palin”, a good sport, funny, etc. Not “The Bad Palin” that we’ve seen way too much of on the campaign trail.

On Friday (Alaska day no less), NOAA officially listed the Cook Inlet Beluga Whale as an endangered species. Alaskan officials are besides themselves over the listing. A flock of Tundra Swans has stopped over at Westchester Lagoon on their way south. This is extremely unusual - when swans stop by, they usually rest in south Anchorage at Potter Marsh. It’s a real treat to have them in the city.
