Happy Turkey Day!!!!

Thanksgiving may be my favorite holiday of the year. No gift and party hustle and bustle. Just a relaxed day (if you’re not cooking for twenty) with friends and family. We’re doing dinner late this afternoon with friends - who are cooking for twenty.

I’ve had a ton of fun watching twitter streams as my various tweeps deal with turkey challenges. My favorite tweet was from Andrew, who is an Aussie,

“Remove the turkey’s neck, then pack with stuffing from both ends.” All I’m saying is that this better be on the citizenship exam.

I’ve also been checking in off and on all day on Kim Severson’s Thanksgiving Blog in the NY Times. It’s been a ton of fun and I’m totally going to have to make the Sweet Potato Pone. Oh My. The blog is particularly entertaining because Kim is a former Anchorag-ite and neighbor. Alaska is such a small town!
