Webber is The Dog!!!!!!
As most of you know, Tygey is from the Sleeping Lady Bouviers kennel. The breeder is one of my all time favorite people, Judy McConnell.
Judy is at Westminster showing, Webber. I’ve known Webber since he was a nine week old puppy - it’s been clear since Day One, that he was something special. Last year, his Dad won the Herding Group and was in the final group for Best in Show. Webber has his Dad’s a wonderful disposition - playful, mischievous, and a total sweetheart. He’s magnificently handsome. I think he’s the one of the best show bouvs in the US.
Evidently, the Westminster Bouvier Judge agreed with that assessment - Webber won an Award of Merit. That’s equivalent of second place - which is totally amazing since Webber is an Alaska based dog who has not been extensively campaigned on the national show circuit. The future is very bright for the big guy.
Of course, Tyge is very tired of hearing about Webber: “Webber This. Webber That.” Sheesh…
But, Tyge will have to put up with Webber’s extensive national media coverage:
