It’s Halloween!!!!!
Happy All Hallow’s Eve! Da Ski Boy, Echo, Tygey, and I are hanging out this evening, watching Game 3 of the World Series, (Go Phillies!!!!!), eating BBQ, drinking wine (well, not the poochies) and handing out candy to trick-or-treaters. We’ve already had our first visitor: a neighbor kid dressed up as “Balloon Boy.”
In celebration of Halloween, I thought I’d post this other worldly picture of Echo.
I think Echo is a dead ringer for one of my favorite comic characters: Bartleby the friendly rat creature from the absolutely drop dead fun and fabulous Bone graphic novel series.

Yup, that works. Is that one of Neil Gaiman’s books?
Bone is by Jeff Smith. I am absolutely positive that Jeff and Neil would be fans of each other’s work. Bone is not quite as dark and angsty as Gaiman’s works.
I’ll have to check that out. Want some so-not-work-safe pictures from Key West’s Halloween Fantasy Fest? (I had no idea when I suggested that jan come down and meet me in the Keys while I killed a couple days between Miami jobs. Talk about culture shock.)
