Weekend Hanging Out
Mid-April in Anchorage can be sunny and beautiful. But more often, at best, it’s grey and blah. That would describe this weekend. Which in a way is a good thing: it is after all Tax Weekend. It’s a lot easier to stay inside and work on taxes if the weather is cruddy.
Of course, we didn’t start on taxes until late this (Sunday) afternoon. We were captivated by the Master’s. I was rooting for Lee Westwood but was happy that Phil won. I was a member of the “Anyone but Tiger” club. If Tiger had won, the media would have deified him. It would have been nauseating.
The dogs had a happy weekend - runs with Peter and I, obedience practice sessions with lots of treats, and of course, they too were avidly watching the Master’s. Tyge loves golf. Particularly putting - he likes watching the ball go from one side of the screen to the other. He looks on the back side of the TV to see if the ball ended up back there.
Peter, Echo, and Tyge watching the Masters.
Peter was also watching the Red Sox game on his laptop.
Echo is cradling her tennis ball.
