Ice is Still In

The Ice is still with us.

Here’s Mom’s report from last night:

It’s about half rotten ice down toward your end and mostly open water at the east end. Viewed at 8:00 p.m. from the West High overlook.

Sadly, that means that poor Carol has lost for another year. I was so hopeful that this year was her year. sigh…

However, Rick is sure to be excited. If the ice goes out today, he will have won 3 years out of the 4 last years.

    Melt baby, Melt! :)

A clear lagoon will make me even happier on Cinco de Mayo. :)

  2. Rick responds:

Well, after driving by the lagoon just a few minutes ago, I’m pleased to report that there is NO ICE anywhere to be seen. Whether that means it was there last night or not remains to be determined, but I didn’t see as much as an ice cube as I drove up to West High from downtown.
